Projects
Garden Project
The jail garden was started in 2011. This project has allowed the jail to reduce food costs and provide fresh vegetables to the inmates. This program teaches the inmates how to grow a garden and how to freeze the produce. The cost of the Garden Project is covered by the Community Service program therefore there is no cost to the taxpayers.

Roadside Project
The Woodford County Detention Center Road Crew consists of a Deputy Jailer and Community Custody Level State Inmates. This project is at no cost to the tax payer and helps to keep the county clean. The Woodford County Fiscal Court receives approximately $30,000 in revenue from the state liter abatement program.
